EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
ABOUT BOOKING A PRIVATE PARTY! :D
* BOOKING YOUR PARTY If you are unable to attend our regularly scheduled events, a private booking might be for you! We have supplies for up to 12 participants, and only require a minimum of 4 to secure a reservation! Booking your own party gives you the benefit of flexibility in choosing your date/time and project, and of course your painting companions! You can see all available projects under the “Project Gallery” on our website and choose from any of those. If you are interested in creating your own project contact us to discuss! When you are ready to book, contact the studio at ashley@littlecabinstudios.art to confirm availability.
Once details are confirmed you will be directed to purchase the base reservation that is good for the first 4 participants. Any additional participants may book through a single add-on ticket or pay in person at the door. Cost per person is the same $52.50 after tax as booking our regularly scheduled events. There is no discount for larger groups, but there is also no additional fee for a private reservation.
* WHERE TO HOST We are happy to come to you and host in your home! A few things to consider when deciding on a suitable location. Is there enough seating with appropriate room for each person’s supplies at a sturdy table? If you could fit a larger placemat per person, there should be enough space. Is there sufficient lighting? Is there access to clean water and a place to dispose of water after the workshop? If you feel your home would not meet these criteria, you might consider if someone in your group has access to a school where the commons area or a classroom could be used, a church that has a conference room, or a conference room at someone’s place of work that could be used. We’ve hosted at a variety of locations and can usually get creative if the listed criteria is met. If none of that is available to you, you might also consider a public venue that has suitable space. If you decide on reserving a public venue, any fees associated with that rental are the responsibility of the booking party. Little Cabin Studios will not cover any reservation fees for private parties. Also consider the age of your participants, and if locations are 21 and older only.
A couple places that we have held Brews & Brushes that would be great to consider: Forbidden Peak conference room ($50/hr), Pederson Hill Farm gazebo (call for pricing, seasonal). Other places that would be a great fit: Alaskan Brewing Co conference room ($25/hr), either Heritage location (free, but first come first serve), any of the other great breweries/distilleries/coffee shops/tea houses in town (call for pricing, availability).
* BREWS & SNACKS We do not provide any food or drink as part of any workshop, but what’s a party without snacks!? You are more than welcome to have snacks accompany your event! We will be sure to remind participants about keeping paper clean and free from food as it can interfere with watercolor application. If you reserve a public venue, food and drink availability will vary from location to location. Please confirm with your desired location the availability of food and drink and if patrons are allowed to supply their own during an event.
